XPeng says IRON humanoid's solid-state battery enters small-batch production

XPeng VP Gu Jie said at SAECCE on October 28 that the solid-state battery designed for its IRON humanoid robot is now in small-batch production, while the robot itself is at the pre-SOP stage. XPeng did not clarify whether the cell is all-solid-state or semi-solid-state. Mass production of the humanoid is planned for late 2026, with deliveries in the first half of 2027.
