Gemini can now verify SynthID watermarks in AI videos

Google expanded SynthID content verification in the Gemini app, letting users upload a video and check whether it was generated with Google AI. Gemini scans both visual and audio tracks, with uploads limited to 100 MB and 90 seconds. Image verification launched on November 20, 2025, and video support followed on December 18, 2025.
