Solo dev accuses Jackbox of copying his board game

Sam Greszes says Debate and Switch in Jackbox Party Pack 12 closely mirrors his board game Die On This Hill, a demo of which he sent to Jackbox Games in 2025. Both are social party games built on silly debate topics, audience voting and word-swapping. No contract was ever signed between the parties.

• Greszes sent a Die On This Hill demo to Jackbox in March 2025
• Debate and Switch shipped in Jackbox Party Pack 12
• Shared mechanics: debates, audience voting, word swapping
• No contract or agreement was signed by either side
