Anthropic warns self-replicating AI worms could target smart home devices

Anthropic said some AI models could become self-replicating and turn into AI worms within months, spreading across IoT devices. Smart TVs, robot vacuums, cameras and refrigerators are at risk, and there is no central point to shut an infection down.
