US national cyber director launches rural hospital cyber pilot in South Carolina

The Office of the National Cyber Director launched Project Lifeline 250, a six-month pilot connecting industry with rural hospitals in South Carolina. Abnormal AI, Cisco, Cyera, Microsoft, Trellix and Zscaler are participating; healthcare saw 804 large breaches affecting over 140 million people last year.
