Samsung Portable SSD P9 review: USB4 speeds up to 4,000 MB/s for $649

Samsung has launched its first USB4 external drive, the Portable SSD P9, in 1, 2, 4 and 8TB capacities. It is rated for sequential reads up to 4,000 MB/s and writes up to 3,800 MB/s, with the 2TB model priced at $649 and the 8TB at $2,879.
