s2fix mod boosts Total War: Shogun 2 by 50% in battles and 136% on campaign map

Modder Meisgoot312 released the open-source s2fix mod for Total War: Shogun 2 and its Complete Edition. Multithreaded DirectX 11 draw-call submission and caching lift battle FPS by roughly 50% and campaign-map performance from 62.6 to 148 FPS.

• One benchmark rose from 142 to 210 FPS, with GPU utilization up from 40% to 70–80%
• Campaign map gained 136%: from 62.6 to 148 FPS
• The original game's VRAM allowance was raised from ~3 GB to nearly 4 GB
• The mod is on GitHub, packaged separately for the 32-bit game and 64-bit Complete Edition
