Vodafone Ukraine to install solar arrays at 400 base stations

Vodafone Ukraine will add solar arrays at 400 base stations, bringing the total to 500. The first phase at 100 sites across 14 regions was completed in June 2026 and generated over 110,000 kWh during the summer.

• Each base station array has a capacity of about 360kW
• The first phase covered around 30% of the sites' annual electricity use
• Solar power cuts grid draw and preserves battery reserve during outages
