Insilico's AI-designed drug shows 40% response in mesothelioma
Insilico Medicine reported at ESMO 2026 that ISM6331, a molecule designed entirely by its Chemistry42 AI platform, achieved a 40% objective response rate among five evaluable mesothelioma patients at 130 mg once daily in a Phase 1 trial. It is the clearest clinical evidence yet that generative chemistry can produce active drugs for solid tumors.
- 40% ORR among five mesothelioma patients at 130 mg daily
- ISM6331 is an oral non-covalent pan-TEAD inhibitor
- The molecule was generated and optimized by Chemistry42
- About 70% of mesothelioma cases carry NF2 mutations
