SoftBank agrees to acquire Robotics and AI Institute
SoftBank Group agreed to acquire Robotics and AI Institute (RAI) from Hyundai Motor Group; the deal amount is undisclosed. CFIUS is reviewing the deal. RAI was founded by Marc Raibert in 2022 as a spin-off from Boston Dynamics with over $400 million in investments.
