Akamai adds dedicated inference and agent sandbox to AI Cloud

Akamai expanded its AI Cloud platform with Akamai Inference, offering 12 open-weight models from 8 billion to 2.8 trillion parameters via OpenAI-compatible APIs, and Akamai Agent Sandbox for isolated agent execution on WebAssembly. It also added Nvidia RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell clusters, with Vera Rubin support planned for next year.
