iPhone Duo water test confirms IP68 protection at 6 meters

Apple's foldable iPhone Duo passed IP68 water-resistance tests, surviving submersion up to 6 meters for 30 minutes without damage to the display, hinge or internals. Apple uses sound-wave technology, as in Apple Watch, to expel water from the speakers.

• IP68: submersion up to 6 m for 30 minutes without damage
• Tests at 3.5, 5 and 8.5 feet for five minutes each passed
• Hinge showed no water ingress thanks to new sealing
• Speakers clear water via sound-wave vibrations
