Musk: Raptor 4 to hit 300 tons of thrust at Raptor 3 mass

Elon Musk said Raptor 4 is expected to produce about 300 metric tons of sea-level thrust at roughly the same mass as Raptor 3 (1,525 kg). Thrust has grown from 185 tons on Raptor 1 (2,080 kg) to 230 tons on Raptor 2 (1,630 kg) and 250–280 tons on Raptor 3.

• Raptor 4: ~300 tf at sea level at ~1,525 kg
• Raptor 1: 185 tf at 2,080 kg; Raptor 2: 230 tf at 1,630 kg
• 33 engines on Super Heavy would yield ~9,900 tf
• That is nearly 3x the Saturn V's ~3,400 tf
