EasyJet to equip entire Airbus fleet with Starlink, leaving Ryanair as lone holdout
EasyJet will install Starlink across its active Airbus narrowbody fleet of about 151 aircraft, plus 271 A320neo and A321neo on order. The move reverses CEO Kenton Jarvis's January 2026 stance that the deal made no commercial sense. Ryanair remains the only major European budget carrier without Starlink.
- Starlink covers 78 A320-200s, 22 A320neos and 51 A321neos — about 151 jets
- The 39 remaining A319-100s will be retired without the upgrade
- The deal includes 271 ordered A320neo and A321neo aircraft
- Ryanair puts Starlink's annual cost at up to $250 million
