Genesys hack exposes customer data from internal systems

Genesys disclosed a cyberattack in which hackers accessed internal business systems, including an LMS and a CRM environment, and likely downloaded customer names, phone numbers, business emails and job titles. The Genesys Cloud, Engage and Engage Cloud platforms were not compromised, and the incident was contained on October 23. The ScarlettGroup gang has claimed the attack on its leak site.
