Claude finds hidden cryptominer heating a developer's Mac to 112 °C

Developer UntilHEX built a Mac temperature monitor with Claude Code to diagnose constant overheating. While validating the sensor, Claude found a cryptominer in a LaunchAgents folder that pushed temperatures to 112 °C and CPU usage to 1175%. Claude quarantined the malware, though one component had to be removed manually.
