Claude Opus 5 and Sonnet 5 now run in-region in Seoul and Singapore

Amazon Bedrock now runs Claude Opus 5 and Sonnet 5 inference entirely within ap-northeast-2 (Seoul) and ap-southeast-1 (Singapore) with no cross-region routing. The change removes a compliance blocker for APAC finance, healthcare and public sector customers with data residency rules.

• Only client initialization for InvokeModel and Converse needs updating
• Throughput is bounded by regional capacity and service quotas
