Samsung to cut mid-range phone output by 20% on rising chip costs

Samsung reportedly plans to cut Galaxy A production by about 20% in Q4 2026 as memory and storage prices surge. The freed chips will go to higher-margin Galaxy S and Z flagships. The Galaxy A line accounts for over 70% of Samsung's phone shipments.
