India to release draft AI regulations in November

IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said at NDTV World Summit 2026 that MeitY will issue a consultation paper on AI regulation in the coming weeks, likely in November. The ministry has already consulted tech companies and will now seek input from civil society, citizens and industry users.
