Central Bank of India reports RTGS glitch and Rs 13.97 crore theft via 187 transactions

Central Bank of India said a technical issue hit the interface of its localised RTGS server and filed a police complaint over Rs 13.97 crore allegedly diverted through 187 unauthorised transactions on October 15–17. The funds went to 36 accounts, the bank could not trace the transactions in its channels or CBS, and it says no customer accounts were affected.
