TrendForce: server CPU shipments to grow 31% in 2026 and 40% in 2027

TrendForce projects server CPU shipments will rise 31% year-over-year in 2026 and more than 40% in 2027, driven by AI inference demand and agentic AI services. Arm-based CPUs are expected to exceed 20% market share in 2026 and reach about 30% in 2027, while AMD's x86 share is forecast to grow to roughly 27%.
