E Ink unveils Kaleido 4 color e-paper with 330 PPI and 18 fps

E Ink announced the Kaleido 4 color e-paper platform, offering up to 330 PPI versus 150 PPI on Kaleido 3, 15% higher white reflectance, 50% more contrast and an 18 fps refresh rate. The first device to use it, the Hanvon MC10C III e-reader, will be sold only in China; pricing and release date are unknown.
