Volkswagen's electric Jetta M6 launches in China from $11,800 with 465 km range

FAW and Volkswagen's Jetta brand has launched its first EV in China, the M6 sedan, in three variants priced from 79,800 yuan (~$11,800). CLTC range spans 465–555 km, with CALB LFP batteries and a 15.6-inch screen running Doubao and DeepSeek AI assistants.

• Pricing: 79,800, 89,800 and 99,800 yuan for 465 Pro, 555 Max and 555 Ultra
• CALB LFP batteries of 42.9 and 51.9 kWh, 20–80% charge in about 30 minutes
• Motors of 113 kW (8.3 s to 100 km/h) and 145 kW (6.8 s)
• 4,806 mm long, 8.88- and 15.6-inch displays, ADAS as standard
