HTX Studio measured the iPhone Duo's inner display crease at 48 microns with under 0.1 degrees of slope when new, growing to 167 microns and 1.24 degrees after 3,000 folds. The nano-texture finish hides the crease and resists scratches, and the cover can be replaced for $49 or $19 with AppleCare+.
