Agentic authorization becomes biometrics' next major use case

Biometric liveness detection, cryptographic credentials and delegated authorization are reaching the market as a way to prove an AI agent acts on behalf of a real person. Vendors including World (World ID for Agents), iProov (HAPS with agentgateway and Cerbos), Transmit Security (Agentic Trust), Token, Proof (x401) and Microsoft (Project Perception) have introduced tools for auditable agent authorization.
