Oracle got AI working on itself only this year

Oracle launched ChatGPT Enterprise and Codex for 160,000 employees in April–May 2026, and within three months 80% of staff were using them. The company faced unexpectedly high costs and introduced model cost tracking: GPT-6 Astra is 2.5 times more expensive than GPT-5.6 Terra.
