Diablo 4 game director says it's 'liberating' to be done with expansions as Blizzard can continue the narrative through seasons instead

Blizzard confirmed that Diablo 4 will no longer receive expansions. Game director Brent Gibson called it 'liberating': the story will continue through seasons, starting with the 15th — Season of Hell's Legacy. Diablo 5 announced for 2029.
