Kroll: 69% of breach victims hit via third parties

Kroll's report for June 2025 to June 2026 found 69% of data breach victims were affected by a third-party breach, with 79% of those tied to compromised technology companies. Tech firms caused 60% of all victims despite accounting for only 6% of incidents.
