EDB provides $31.2m financing for Akashi data center in Kazakhstan

The Eurasian Development Bank has signed an agreement with Akashi Data Center to provide $31.2 million for a data center project in Astana. The 11-hectare campus is planned for 100MW and more than 4,200 racks across 55,000 sqm, with a 10MW first phase due in 2027. Total project investment is set at $354 million.
