Hyosung Heavy Industries to localize 2 GW HVDC tech by 2027

Hyosung Heavy Industries plans to complete development of core 2 GW HVDC technology by 2027 and install and commission the system on Korea's west coast by 2030. The company has already finished key design algorithms, 525 kV converter valve submodules and a HILS simulation environment.
