Five NGINX CVEs are conditional on configuration, not just version
NGINX 1.31.7 and 1.30.6 fix five vulnerabilities (CVE-2026-15176, CVE-2026-93479, CVE-2026-97205, CVE-2026-95101, CVE-2026-97629), each requiring a specific directive such as alias, rewrite, ssi, aio or ssl_session_cache to be active. The author argues exposure must be measured via configuration and nginx -T rather than version banners; ZoomEye queries failed with HTTP 502 during the research window.
- NGINX 1.31.7 and 1.30.6 fix five CVEs from the 14 October 2026 advisory
- Exposure depends on alias, rewrite, ssi, aio and ssl_session_cache directives
- ZoomEye scans returned no counts: the API returned HTTP 502 throughout
- Checking configuration with nginx -T beats inferring versions from banners
