Scania launches 720-km battery electric truck, hydrogen stakeholders double down

Scania unveiled a battery electric truck in Europe with a range of up to 720 km on a single charge. Additional MP20 batteries of 356 kWh are placed behind the cab, and a new streamlined front reduces energy consumption by up to 3%. Meanwhile, a consortium with Volvo, Daimler Truck and Toyota presented a plan for hydrogen truck development in Germany.
