Quest Diagnostics reports unauthorized access to patient records

Quest Diagnostics discovered unauthorized access to its systems on Wednesday and disclosed it in an SEC filing Thursday. The intrusion hit Quanum Lab Services Manager, used by clients to place orders and check test results; the scope of the breach is not yet known.
