Galaxy Z Fold 8 has better app support than iPhone Duo right now

SamMobile compared app support on the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and iPhone Duo, finding Android apps adapt better to both of Samsung's foldable screens. The gap stems from Android's responsive layout system and the iPhone Duo's unusual ~14.5:10 cover screen with a taskbar area that unoptimized iOS apps ignore.

• Android uses responsive layouts, while iOS relies on preset resolutions and aspect ratios
• The iPhone Duo's cover screen is roughly 14.5:10 instead of 16:10
• Unoptimized iOS apps leave a blank area for the taskbar
• The situation may change as developers update their apps
