Google explains why the Fitbit Edge lacks NFC

The Fitbit Edge has no NFC, so contactless payments aren't supported. Google told Android Authority it dropped the feature because fewer than 1% of Charge 6 owners used it. The tracker still offers an altimeter, ECG and skin temperature tracking.
