Marvell, Microsoft and Oracle push to standardize data center HSM security

Marvell, Microsoft and Oracle are working to standardize an integrated hardware security module (HSM) at NIST FIPS 140-3 Level 3 for cloud and hyperscale data center infrastructure.

• Goal is a common integrated HSM standard for cloud and hyperscale data centers
• Target certification is NIST FIPS 140-3 Level 3
• Marvell, Microsoft and Oracle are involved in the effort
