Athena StealthRoute PhaaS uses AI to craft and hide phishing

Researchers at Abnormal AI found a phishing-as-a-service platform called Athena StealthRoute that uses AI to generate lures and conceal attacks. About 89,700 related messages hit roughly 2,280 organizations in the US and Europe in the six months to October 9, 2026.
