Call of Duty: MW4 requires VRR on Xbox and PS5 for Performance Mode

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 developers said Performance Mode on Xbox Series X|S and PS5 will only work with Variable Refresh Rate enabled and a display of at least 120Hz. Without VRR, frame rates in campaign and DMZ are capped at 60Hz, and the requirement will extend to Warzone with Season 1. The game launches on October 23, 2026.
