Riot reworks Mel's Rebuttal in League of Legends for patch 26.22

Riot Games is replacing Mel's W, Rebuttal: instead of reflecting projectiles it will destroy them and grant a shield to Mel and nearby allies. The rework ships with League of Legends patch 26.22 on November 4, alongside smaller tweaks to her E, Q and ultimate.

• Rebuttal no longer reflects projectiles; it destroys them and shields Mel and allies
• By mid-2026 Mel was banned in 15–30% of games with a 45–47% win rate
• Q gets a flat cooldown refund on champion hit; ultimate gains more CDR per level
• The rework goes live in patch 26.22 on November 4
