Intel Core Ultra 9 4995HX to top Nova Lake laptops with 28 cores

Specs for two Intel Nova Lake mobile chips have surfaced: the flagship Core Ultra 9 4995HX packs 28 cores (8P+16E+4LP-E) and up to 144 MB cache, while the Core Ultra 9 4970H has 16 cores and up to 12 Xe3P iGPU cores. HX parts are built on TSMC's N2P process with 55–160 W TDP, with laptops expected by CES 2027.

• 4995HX: 8 Coyote Cove P-cores, 16 E-cores and 4 LP-E, 28 threads total
• 4970H: 4+8+4 layout for 16 cores and up to 12 Xe3P iGPU cores
• HX chips use TSMC N2P and scale from 55 W to 160 W
• Up to 144 MB cache, compute tile measures 97.68 mm²
