SquachWatch turns an ESP32 into a detector for Flock cameras and Meta glasses
The open-source SquachWatch firmware turns an ESP32-2432S028R (the "Cheap Yellow Display") into a standalone detector for surveillance gear and trackers. It scans Wi-Fi and Bluetooth for signatures of Flock Safety cameras, Ray-Ban Meta glasses, Axon equipment, Ring cameras, AirTags and drones without joining a network or sharing location.
- Free open-source firmware runs on the ESP32-2432S028R board
- Detects Flock cameras, Meta glasses, Axon, Ring, AirTags and drones
- Alerts show device type, vendor, MAC address and signal strength
- Flashed over USB from the project's website, no IDE needed
