Subaru to end gas car sales in Europe by end of 2027, going EV-only

Subaru will phase out all combustion-engine vehicles in Europe by the end of 2027 and sell only EVs, citing EU emissions and driver-assistance rules. From 2028 its European lineup will be three Toyota-based electric crossovers: Solterra, E-Outback and Uncharted.
