Socure: generative AI may create new fraudsters, not just arm existing ones

Socure research found 13.4% of surveyed consumers used AI for at least one type of fraud. These AI-fluent fraudsters attempted twice as many fraud types and targeted 40% more businesses, producing roughly six times the fraud volume of traditional offenders.
