Replit picks OpenAI as preferred AI partner over Anthropic

Replit has made OpenAI its preferred AI partner for its coding agent, citing cost, performance and partnership. CEO Amjad Masad clarified the platform remains model-agnostic and users can still access Anthropic models. Enterprise contracts now account for about 15% of Replit's revenue, up from 2% a year earlier.
