Extend launches Verify API to flag fraudulent documents for AI agents

Extend has announced Extend Verify, a document fraud detection API that lets developers and AI agents assess document integrity before acting on them. The system examines visual content, file structure and revision history to spot AI-generated forgeries, localized tampering and post-signature edits. In a benchmark evaluation, Verify detected 96.3% of fraudulent documents at a 4.0% false-positive rate.
