Report: Apple leads slowing true wireless stereo market as open-ear earbuds gain ground

According to Omdia, in Q2 2026 Apple shipped 16.8 million TWS devices (+1.2% year-over-year) amid an overall market decline of 0.7%. Apple's share was 20.5%, nearly double Xiaomi's (10.4%). The open-ear (OWS) segment grew 12%, led by Shokz with 1.1 million devices.
