Citizen Lab confirms Pegasus infection of Belgrade University rector

Six days before Serbia's elections, Citizen Lab confirmed that NSO Group's Pegasus infected the phone of University of Belgrade rector Vladan Đokić. Prosecutor Rade Bajić, whose investigation derailed a Kushner-linked Belgrade Trump Tower project, also received an Apple threat notification, bringing Serbia's confirmed spyware targets in 2026 to at least 16.
