Walmart's Flipkart quietly tests food delivery in India

Walmart-owned Flipkart is testing a food-delivery service with up to 8,000 employees and plans a public launch in Bengaluru by the end of October. It is pitching restaurants a base commission of about 10%, versus the 20–25% charged by Zomato and Swiggy, and aims to reach five or six cities by year-end.
