Modders Pull Faster DLSS 5 Model From NBA 2K27, Report Up to 90% Gains

NVIDIA shipped its updated DLSS 5 Neural Rendering model with NBA 2K27 on October 16. Modders extracted the 310.9.16.0 DLL and injected it into other games via RenoDX and OptiScaler, finding the new Preset B up to 90% faster than the old Preset A in The Witcher 3.

• The new model is 24% smaller at roughly 118 million parameters
• VRAM use at 4K drops 20%, neural rendering runs up to 2x faster
