Underground KYC market sells fake IDs and deepfakes to bypass checks

Flare detailed an underground market for Know Your Client bypass services, including forged passports, deepfake videos and help with live identity verification. In February 2026 the operator of OnlyFake pleaded guilty in the US over a service that generated more than 10,000 fraudulent identity documents.
